although sitting on ur rump the whole afternoon till night can give you an acute numbness from the waist down, the performances made up for it. they were IN-CRE-DI-BLE. ESPECIALLY THE TRIO DRUM BATTLE BETWEEN GORDAN CAMPBELL, JIMMY LEE AND TONY ROYSTER JR AT THE END. ooh that was something definately something worth waiting for. i am SOO inspired now. practiced the l3 r4 and the limb independance techniques. (by Grant Collins. voted world's hottest drummer with a PhD) i think Tony Royster's floor tom and kick bass gimmick for the double bass is WAY cool. I'VE GOT PARADIDDLES ON MY FOOT!
a Vic Firth drumstik bag was on sale and i am darn glad i got it - so i could let T.R. Jr (plus some of the other drummers) autograph on it. (it'll be worth hundreds after he becomes a ledgend :D)plus i got Vic Firth stickers (to paste on my bass drum skin) Sabian badges and a couple'a drum mags. I AM SOOO HAPPY.
