when it rains, dont ask the rain to go away. cos Wayne Thunder wants to play.

ROCK FOR WAYNE! was good. it was really clever of them to put wayne's golden drumset on the second floor so that he could like 'watch'.

they opened late. we were looking for aircon cos it was rather musky outside Far East Square. we found ourselves on the comfy red sofas of California Fitness gym. (me, Helios, Ryan, Colleen) Rather amusing. one of the staff came and i said we were waiting for ryan's mom, who was a member. Hahaha. what a lie!

The Fire Fight
Humpback Oak
Great Spy Experiment
A Vacant Affair
Force Vomit
West Grand Bolevard
Caracal
Electrico
Astroninja All-Stars

i loooooooooooooove Caracal's entry! - the drummer sneaked up behind the drumset (somehow) and started playing a beat with the toms and snare. and the guitars + lead vocals marched in a line onto the stage! (step by step like in slo mo) freakin cool.
the mosh was quite sick, but i survived it without any bruses or whatever. (surprisingly)
but standing beside the Meyer house amps really left a (ringing) impression in my ears!

Humpback Oak's drummer is cute! haha. (no, im not gay) dictionary defination — contrived to charm. "it's an insufferably cute performance" . i thought West Grand Boulevard and Caracal were damn good considering their age. Fire Fight/A Vacant Affair's lead guitar was cool! (his names joshua i think) Electrico greased the gig with their antiques. i was screaming my guts out to 'WE'RE NOT MADE IN THE USA!'

*PICTURES*
(didn't have time to put. blame it on math) heh.
oh. can check out R, C or Hs (above) or Best Cousin's blog for pics. really awesome.

I have a thing for rockets and flying away. Magic. Stars and how beautiful they are. Your eyes. They shine brighter. And light.

The greatest tragedy of modern life is that we live our days in quiet desperation.
All our little bottled insecurities are the real issues tormenting us. It is these personal issues, together with our minor everyday problems, that fills a little vaccum in ourselves; a vaccum that determines the goals we set in our lives. How we seperate ourselves from the mainstream fodder.
